Quick Reference

Fast lookup for common tasks and keyboard shortcuts

Common Tasks

Add a Filament

  • iOS/iPadOS: Tap + button (top-right)
  • macOS: Click + button or press ⌘N

Edit a Filament

  • iOS/iPadOS: Select filament → Tap "Edit"
  • macOS: Select filament → Click "Edit"

Duplicate a Filament

  • iOS/iPadOS: Long-press filament → Select "Duplicate"
  • macOS: Right-click filament → Select "Duplicate"

Delete a Filament

  • iOS/iPadOS: Swipe left on filament → Tap "Delete"
  • macOS: Right-click filament → Select "Delete"

Log Usage

  • iOS/iPadOS: Select filament → Tap "Log Usage"
  • macOS: Select filament → Click "Log Usage"

Log Drying Session

  • iOS/iPadOS: Select filament → Tap "Log Drying"
  • macOS: Select filament → Click "Log Drying"

Search Filaments

  • Type in search field at top of sidebar
  • Searches: color, brand, polymer, modifiers

Filter Filaments

  • iOS/iPadOS: Tap filter button in toolbar
  • macOS: Click filter button in toolbar

Clear Filters

  • Tap/click "Clear All" in filter menu

Form Fields Quick Guide

Adding a Filament

Required Fields:

  • Brand (select or type custom)
  • Material/Polymer (dropdown)
  • Color Name (text)
  • Hex Code (at least one)

Optional But Recommended:

  • Modifiers (e.g., Carbon Fiber, Matte, Glow)
  • Spool Weight (e.g., 1000g)
  • Remaining Weight (e.g., 1000g for new spool)
  • Diameter (1.75mm or 2.85mm)

Optional:

  • Part Number

Logging Usage

Required:

  • Amount in grams (positive number)

Optional:

  • Note (description of print or context)
  • Type (Usage or Addition)

Logging Drying

Optional (but all recommended):

  • Date/Time (defaults to now)
  • Temperature in °C
  • Duration in hours

Quick Troubleshooting

Filament not appearing

  • Wait for sync (1-2 minutes)
  • Clear filters

  • Force-quit and reopen app

Remaining weight seems wrong

  • Review usage logs for errors
  • Check base remaining weight
  • Add correction entry
  • Weigh spool to verify
